Short-Course Training

ICPL delivers short-course training programmes and workshops that cater for all levels of professional staff concerned with the planning and management of protected areas, and for communities engaged in natural resource management and conservation projects.

Training courses are delivered across a range of political, cultural and environmental contexts and our trainers can cover the full breadth of skills and expertise needed for the new roles and responsibilities of protected area and other conservation managers and policy makers. Previous courses have been delivered in, for example: Nepal, Taiwan, Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, Fiji, Chile, Hungary, Czech Republic, Bulgaria and the UK. Training events are designed and delivered according to the country context and are based on identified needs. ICPL can undertake full needs' assessments with client groups if requested.
